AN INNOVATIVE HYBRID PROPULSION FOR A CLEAN SHIP
For a carbon footprint reduced to a minimum, the MANTA will be powered by DynaRig sails and four electric motors. To power them, it embeds several combined technologies of renewable energy production associated with an optimized energy storage system.

GREAT MOBILITY: FAST INTERVENTION
2 Darrieus wind turbines – 500 kW nominal power.
With its hybrid propulsion mode, MANTA has the mobility required for fast moving plastics benches still concentrated by winds and currents, before they begin their oceanic drifts towards the “plastic continents”.

RAY OF ACTION: ALL THE SEAS
2000 m² of solar panels: about 100 kW rated power.

MANTA can intervene anywhere in the world and quickly on the densest pollution areas, both near the coast, in estuaries and on the high seas to collect floating macro-waste before it sinks to the bottom of the sea.

This large capacity of energy production and storage (100 tons of batteries) and hybrid propulsion (sailing and electric motor) give MANTA maximum autonomy for its movements or work phases.
