This diet is to promote foods high in fat and ban those rich in carbohydrate.
For weight loss
If you have struggled for a long time to get rid of the recalcitrant fat of the belly and thighs, it would be advisable to follow the ketogenic diet. This diet consists of replacing carbohydrates with lipids in order to limit insulin production and to obtain an active participation of fat reserves in the production of energy, which should lead to weight loss.
For the fight against cancer
This diet can fight effectively against cancer cells. Indeed, cancer cells need glucose to survive. Good fats are converted to ketone when these cancerous cells are starved of glucose. Normal cells are able to convert them into energy while sick cells can not. It means their destruction.
In order to follow this diet wisely, it is advisable to focus on certain foods and avoid others.
The foods allowed in the ketogenic diet are: fish, seafood, meat, poultry, eggs, butter, vegetable oil, vinegar, lemon juice, olives, avocado, low carbohydrate vegetables such as green leafy vegetables, paste cheese tough. Consumption of monounsaturated fats (olive oil, avocado, nuts) is more advisable.
Foods allowed in moderation:

Sugar, sweet products, cereal products, soft cheeses, soft drinks, chocolate, honey, maple syrup, jam, sweet sauces, compotes and fruit salads with added sugar, legumes, fruits and processed foods.
Soup recipe from the ketogenic diet
This delicious soup is perfect for vegetarians and meat consumers. And it’s full of healthy fats. It’s a perfect meal for the whole family to enjoy at dinner. For more protein, you can add chicken or tofu.
Thai Hokkaido Curry Soup with Kale
-2 tablespoons of coconut oil
-1 teaspoon of cumin seeds
-1 medium onion, finely chopped
-3 ripe tomatoes, finely chopped
-1 medium-headed cauliflower, hulled and cut into bite-size bunches.
-1 hot pepper, seeded and chopped
-1 cup chopped kale
-2 teaspoons of ginger paste
-1 tablespoon cumin powder
-1 tablespoon coriander powder
-1 teaspoon turmeric powder
-1 can of whole coconut milk, unsweetened
-1 teaspoon of sea salt
-2 tablespoons chopped coriander
In a medium pot, heat the coconut oil for 30 seconds over medium heat.
Add the cumin seeds and stir until they start to sprout. Add the onions and cook for another minute, then add the tomatoes, stir and cook for a few more minutes until the tomatoes soften.
Add the rest of the ingredients and mix. Cover the pan and simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes so that the ingredients do not stick to the pot.
Pour the soup into bowls and enjoy! The remains of this soup can be kept in an airtight container and kept for lunch the next day.
Since this diet excludes a large number of foods necessary for the body, it is advisable to inform your doctor before starting it.
