A lost traveler causes the cancellation of 130 flights at Munich Airport
Munich airport was forced to cancel about 130 flights on Tuesday after police stopped check-in and evacuated the building in search of a passenger who accidentally entered an emergency exit.
The airport said the missing man, a Spanish national, was found in Terminal 1 after earlier entering the emergency door at Terminal 2.
Check-in resumed after the closure of the airport for four hours, which caused a significant delay for most flights today.
The airport also provided bottled water to passengers waiting for a hot and sunny day in Munich.
