The images are breathtaking. Operating a crane installed on the job site does not seem at all romantic, but Wei Gensheng will surely change this preconceived view. He suggested taking the camera with him during the program hours to shoot some breathtaking images at least 600 feet tall. And he did well because his efforts were rewarded with the 2nd prize of the Shanghai Photo Contest.

Gensheng is currently working on the construction site of the second building of the Shanghai Tower. Fortunately for potential homeowners, they can still now to see the magnificent view from the balconies of the apartments will have to be ready later this year.

The breathtaking images, as well as the numbers: the building of the Shanghai Tower is set at 632 meters high and 121 floors in total. It is overtaken only by Dubai’s Burj Khalifa building, which is the tallest building in the world with 829.8 meters
